Am I Evil?

I sorta want a nice shower. I know we're suppose to be surprised and it's a nice gesture, etc. But I kind of really wanted it at a RH type place, like New Hyde Park Inn , Main Maid Inn or George Washington Manor, etc.

My MOH knows this but said my mom refuses. She wants the usual 50 year old, never remodeled, Italian type place. That kind of bums me out, but my mom will most likely be paying a large chunk of it, so I have no choice.

She also wants to stick with Western Nassau - like Lynbrook, Malverne, Garden City, RVC, etc.
Does anyone know of a cool or modern type place in this area, I may be able to drop a hint to my MOH who isn't from that area. I guess the price needs to be under $30 per person.

garden city - the seventh street cafe,. its very nice its italian they have all italian decorations, columns etc.. but done very tasteful and nice.

Or Carmelas on Hemp Trpk Franklin square also done up italian style food is excellent

not sure how much the would charge though - sorry

Oh good idea. I like both of those places. Certain towns aren't easy to find parking at. Ever notice that?

I know. i think there there is a lot across the street from Carmelas that people could park in, i think that is where we always park

I've actually never eaten in the 'fancy' part of Carmella's. We'd always eat in the quickie pizza part. Ha ha.

The worst is Umberto's- on the corner of Meacham and Hempstead Turnpike. Cars will KILL you trying to cross. It's nuts over there.

I know!!! i park in that lot across from Umbertos but it is a dangerous corner!!!!

that fancoy part of carmelas is really nice. we used to go all the time and havent been in a while though.

I dont know of any place in that area, but I do know the place where I had my Eparty is nice, newly remodeled, great food, etc, and its about $30pp depending on the type of party. Its in East Islip though.
