am I going to be hated

I planned a friends/coworker thing for D to the H on friday night to celebrate his bday AND his truly amazing run in the marathon on Sunday (he came in under his goal and posted a 3:27:24)

so, I picked a lounge in the city, but I am wondering if people are going to be pissy about the price of the drinks...about $12 each...two drink minimum per person. the place seems really cool though...L=http://newyork.citysearch.com/review/41745083]check it out[/L] (it may be a good place for future GTG's)

i wasn't too much of a fan of the place b/c their drinks were super watered down and dumbly inflated. however, i don't think the guests will be pissy about the 2 drink minimum...that's 'average'
