I dont know what you look like so I cant say if the dress is great for you or not. I dont think it looks any more or less Italian than a 1000 other dresses out there.

Your friend obviously didnt like the dress and justified it with an odd description. (and everyones comments have me cracking up!)

I think the key is whether you respect what your friend thinks or not. If you trust your friends taste, it doesnt matter why she didnt like it - just that she didnt. And if that sways your opinion.

If you dont care what she thinks, it wouldnt matter if she said she loved it or hated it, it shouldnt matter what she says or why.

When I went dress shopping, I did it mostly alone b/c I trust my own taste more than others. Not everyone is quite as indigidant as I am. But if I brought a friend I trusted, I would heed those words. Sometimes our friends dont know how to say it properly, but they are more objective and are looking out for our best interests. So it depends on who this girl is and what her motives are and how her tastes are like yours.

I LOVE that dress!! Actually, if I'm not mistaken, another bride on here , DaniRN has the same one (if it's not exactly the same, it's d@mn close!), and the reason I remembered that is because it totally stuck out in my mind for how beautiful it was!
