Am I gonna look too Italian??

Silly question...but I LOVE this dress...and a friend said that I'm gonna look REAL ITALIAN in it.

Both my parents are from Italy and hardly speak english so that's why they brought it up...don't get me wrong...I am PROUD of being italian...I just don't want to look like I just got off the boat!

STUPID I know!!

unless you plan to wear the italian flag as a shawl, i don't know what your friend is talking about! it is a lovely dress.

I don't think you will look 'off the boat' or 'too Italian,' just don't over accesorize and you'll be fine.

This dress is gorgeous!!!! I have no idea what your friend is talking about either!

BUT I will offer this advise: If you are short (as many of us Italians are!) I wouldn't reccomend this dress... it might make you look shorter!!

I never heard of looking too Italian. Tha particular dress will make you look elegant, beautiful dress too. I'm Italian and I don't see looking at that dress makes you look too Italian. That's funny, just be careful who you show things too sometimes you don't want to hear what they think because you may really like it. If you are comfortable and absolutely love the dress go for it! I love the dress.

Don't see the issue with italian.

Besides.. you ARE italian no matter what you wear that's what you'll look like.

I was worried about the Spaniard look, then realized I'm not too ugly.. why not just be pretty.

I'm sure you'll look wonderful.. Go try it on!

I'm Italian too! (Parents straight off the boat also) and I see no Italian connection. If you start putting too many accessories with the dress then yes, maybe. But I would definately go try it on!

I think that dress is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! I've never heard of looking too Italian in anything! if you've tried that dress on and love it, go for it!

You're friend doesn't know what's she's talking about, lol!

Gorgeous! I don't think you will sooo Italian unless you plan on hiking it up and stomping on some grapes. But then you might look like Lucille Ball, and I don't think she's italian.

The dress is beautiful. I don't know what would be too Italian. If you have doubts, go online and look at Italian wedding dress designers and see if there are any similarities.

Personally I don't see the connection. If someone said a dress was too Italian, I would think it would either be really old-fashioned and poufy or it would be very sleek and almost abstract.

The dress is great!

I'm actually going with 'Giovanni' from maggie Sottero. The dress looks just like this one...the only difference is the bottom is silk and it has a tie up design in the back.

I'm not one for jewlery, but I most defintely will not were a lot with this dress.
