Or are these 2 different dresses. I'm convinced the sample I tried on and BOUGHT is different than MY dress that I tried on today. You be the judge...

And then today's dress:
AM I NUTS OR ARE THEY DIFFERENT?!

Re: AM I NUTS OR NOT?
Okay now that its fixed
Honestly they look the same to me, the only thing I'd say is that the lace pops a little more in the first pic...but at the same time they were taken in two different lighting situations so that could be it.

They look like the same dress but maybe in 2 different colors. It may be the lighting though.

I think it's two different dresses, the lace in the first one looks like it's an overlay while the lace in second looks more like it's embroidered on the dress. Very similar but not the same as far as I can see.

Re: Am I nuts? (fixed!)
The lace def looks different, The neckline looks more defined in the 2nd one too.
Same or different, they are both very pretty and look great on.

Re: Am I nuts? (fixed!)
Personally I feel that they mustve changed the underlay under the lace. The lace is def the same but why is it soooo shiny in the second pic? Same store, same camera, same lighting. I don't know what to do now? I hate it and I feel vom when I think about my dress now.I literally sat there crying last night bc I'm in shock and donno what to do. I couldn't even smile at my fitting.

Ah! this is a hard one....hmmmm....the lace does look different but maybe that could be because the sample was very used and worn? and your dress is so fresh and new. I dunno.....it may just be the lighting.
Either way, they are both beautiful!

Re: Am I nuts? (fixed!)
First, you look gorgeous in both--you have a beautiful figure!
IMHO.... they appear to be different. The fabric underneath the lace in the second gown looks shinier than the first dress, and the lace in the first gown looks 'thicker' (for lack of a better description). I think the lighting plays a factor, though it's hard to tell. Maybe take another picture without the flash? I think the differences are minimal, but make sure that you are 100% happy with what you're getting.

I agree..the first one the lace is more defined/stands out more. The second it looks less 'chunky' for lack of a better word.
What did the dress store have to say??

Re: Am I nuts? (fixed!)
There seems to be more of a sheen to the second dress.
I can only imagine how upset you are that's different but take a step back and look at how AMAZING you look in either dress. Both are beautiful and with your amazing figure, you make either one look killer

They look like the same dress, except in #2 it looks a little shiner. But it definetly looks like the lighting is different. I think you look fabulous in both.

Re: Am I nuts? (fixed!)
The lace looks different on the second dress. It doesn't stand out as much. However it could be the red tint of the lighting. The lighting in the 2nd pic isn't as good and could be causing a glare making the lace harder to see.

Re: Am I nuts? (fixed!)
I'd like to see a pic of the bottom of the 2nd dress to see if it's lace overlay on both dresses. You can see the scalloped edges in the first pic so I am curious to see what the bottom looks like in the 2nd pic.
The top dress looks like lace overlay and the bottom dress does not. Also, the bottom dress is shinier. Did you order it in the same color? It could also be that the store dress is dirty or just used. Every dress store I went to had damaged dresses to try on.. dirty and or damaged. So that could be it as well.
Were you able to pull the sample out in the store and compare that way?
On the flip side... I think the studded top part looks a lot more sparkly in the new dress!
All in all you look great in the both. And not only that... but when the fittings are done... it will be even better!!!
I'm sorry you are so upset.

Re: Am I nuts? (fixed!)
Thanks for you inputs and compliments.
Kerri, I attached a pic of the bottom so you can see that the bottom is still scalloped and there is still the overlay, I just despise the UNDERLAY. I freaking hate it. I didn't want a shiny dress or I would've bought a shiny dress.
The whole thing literally makes me sick. Its easy for people to say, its pretty, but its not what I wanted at all. And now I spent 3k on a dress i don't even want to wear. So now what? My weddings in 2 months, my place isn't done and I hate my dress.

ETA ordered in the same color as the sample.
OK so it's def still lace overlay and there's an under layer as well. You have 2 months... is there ANY chance they can change the material on the underlay??? If anything you could go to a phenominal tailor who makes dresses and have them do it. I know a girl on here posted about a tailor she's been using for a long time and she was raving and raving about her. I dont sew or anything... so it seems simple to just be able to put another layer of fabric under the dress to cover the shiny material on it.... but IDK really because I'm not a sewing girl. Even if you leave the top alone and just do it to the bottom. Then the majority of the dress isn't shiny. I'm sorry about all this! It must be very upsetting to have to go through.
What did the place say? Did they offer anyway to fix it?? Is that bridal reflections BTW? For some reason it looks like that place to me.
