ok, I love my FMIL she's really a wonderful person and we get along really well...but with some things she's driving me nuts about and I don't have the courage to tell her that that is not the way I want it. My parents and my FIL's are paying for our weddings so I feel like I have to go with some of their choices. Granted for the most part they have been really great and have allowed me to make the MAJOR choices...and the things that she feels so strongly about are so minor but its irritating!!! I knew we should have gone to Vegas! LOL

I'm pretty much there with you. It's like when she says things and I get off the phone with her I vent like hell to my FH... but when I'm on the phone with her I just can't seem to say what's really on my mind... it's more like uh huh, ok... not really telling her how I feel. I just don't want to upset her...

Nope you are not the only one. I'm having other issues with my FMIL... won't discuss online... but battles are cropping up between family and myself that I just can't seem to win.
