I'm not worrying. Mine is going to be a suprise so if I show up some place in my sweats and a tshirt people will just have to get over it!

You are definitely not alone. I am not going shopping for a special outfit - No offense to any ladies that have or polan to, it is just not me.

You're not alone. I didn't worry about it at all, in fact I was going to wear a dress to my shower that I had worn to my niece's christening a couple of months before and was settled on it, but literally the week of my shower I happened to be window shopping and saw something cute and onsale so I bought it.

And then I was even going to wear that shower dress to my RD because I just didn't have the time to go shopping for a RD dress once it got so close. But one of my BMs told me I could not wear my shower dress to my RD (whatever ) so the week of my wedding (4 days before) I went to Macys after work and bought a RD dress.

honestly I just used it as an excuse to break the shopping ban I have had myself on since Christmas....yes that's right, I literally have not bought any clothes or shoes or anything since Christmas! So, I allowed myself 2 dresses (1 for shower, which I can also wear to work, & 1 for RD) and 1 pair of shoes....and that's it. so really it was just an excuse!

i thought i would care so i bought a dress to give to my mom for the shower but once i got there i didnt want to miss a minute and change. . .

now if you ask about RD dresses, I can tell you I REALLY didnt care. I wore black pants and a shirt - and my mom bought me the shirt bc she was horrified by my lack of interest.

I'm not worried... but that's because I already know what I'm wearing to both showers and I've known for months ... They are dresses I already own.

my shower won't be for at least 4 or 5 more months, so I'm not terribly worried as of right now.

I know my shower is either July or August , so in June I will go to roosevelt mall and buy one, its not that deep for me

You are very funny Danielle, you always make me laugh and I'm in pain from the dentist today so thanks.

Jenn, I'm not worried, but that's b/c my shower isn't until September and I can't think that far in advance.

me either.......i hope im not in my PJs thats all lol but i am not runnign out to get a dress or anything....i have looked but i just think its another expense i dont need lol if the people there care what i show up in they can leave if they dont like it

As of now I haven't really thought about it. Mine will probably be this summer and I have a ton of dresses so it will most likely be something that is already in my closet. Unless I see something along the way.

Im not really worried... Its going to be a suprise so I dont even know if the dress I would buy would be considered my shower dress.
