Ok...at my e party (perhaps 6/2!) will be the first time our familes have really 'hung out' and mixed with one another....
My family is this big happy go lucky italian family. We love to party...they are not all thin and pretty, and some are not as well off as my immediate family. My other side is german and they just loooooooove to drink!
FHs family is totally different! They dont so eparties and they are uptight. Im horrified that they are going to look down on my family.
Did anyone else have this fear?

I def know what you mean and I am just so proud of the who my family members are toward each other, I've learned that if your not happy with them then it's your loss. Im sure it will be fine.

Absolutely not!! My fathers side of the family is 'loud'...barbeques, parties, clubs.... on the other hand, my mothers family is uhhhh 'lets just sit down in the living room and talk' type quiet. My mother is pulling her hair out just thinking about the two sides of the family meeting...FH has a small family so I dont think he's worried about this as much as I am...

i dont think our families have anything in common at all and certain members of my family are very jugdmental. the first thing everyone wanted to know about FH was basically how much money he will make . but i really dont care if they get along or not, i am not close to my family. besides the wedding they really wont bump into eachother too much anyways.
