Am I the only person who doesn't care about tanning?

I don't know what it is, but I have no interest in tanning. I enjoy getting some color when I'm out in the sun, but I burn easily, so I always wear pretty strong sunblock when I'm lying out. I long ago accepted the fact that I don't tan naturally, and for some reason I have no interest in self-tanners.

I keep reading everyone talking about self-tanners, and I'm wondering if I'm the only one who is content being my pale, white self.

I just think I look better tan. I don't mind being not tan though.

Same here. Pale and proud of it

I am Irish and have never been able to tan so I just stopped trying and accepted my whiteness...haha.

I don't tan, I go from burn (tomato with hair) to freckle. I embrace my paleness! All those who can reflect the sun back unite!

i love laying out in the sun in the summer time but i dont like getting burned. yes i like getting tanned i look better with a tan.

I used to love tanning...but, not anymore. My skin breaks out in a rash almost every time I'm in the sun...like these little tiny bumps all over my hands and arms and legs...it's gross. It's just not worth it to me anymore.

I have never been interested in self-tanners, because I'd end up looking like an Oompa-loompa. I do like to get a little color in the summer, but just enough so I don't look like I was hibernating all summer. Looking back, I am glad I was not really into tanning, because compared to other women my age, my skin still looks good, wrinkle-wise.

i used to tan outdoors a lot. not so much anymore. I still like the way it looks- gives me a healthy look. but I know how bad it is for you. I am going tanning before my Miami trip next week because it is hot down there and I will burn. I like to get a base... but other than that, i dont go tanning...

I don't tan. I love my pasty white complexion.

I apply so much sunblock it's scary...since 18 years old, I've dealt with pre-melanomas, and just a few weeks ago I had another inch long incision in my arm...thank god it was nothing, but I can't mess with the sun (I used to...especially in college, I was a fake n baker during the spring to give me that 'healthy' look, too bad I did all that damage to my skin).

Tanning rids me of my psoriasis. Without it, my legs would never see the light of day in warm weather. I do it in a moderate and regulated fashion.

I have accepted the fact that my body just wasn't made to tan!!!

I don't have the skin type OR the patience to sit out & wait to get color!!!
I wear sunblock everyday on my face, even in the Winter. I WILL cheat a little here & there w/ a little self-tanner, I HATE having white legs in the Summer.
I do try & take really good care of my skin, but w/ these self-tanners, who knows what they'll discover a few years down the line!

I am pale and white.
In the summer I am red. Then white. Never tan.

We will just have great skin when we're old!!!
I don't care... would never go tanning... don't care anymore!!

i also love my pale skin it must be the gothic chick in me still lol besides i never tan anyway i go for pale to burnt and then back to pale
