Am I too old???

To have another baby???

I am 35 and so is DH. I have one 3 year old from my previous marriage and DH has two ages 6 and 9 from his previous marriage.

We definatley want a baby together but sometimes I feel like I am too old

DH wants to get cooking now, but I love our weekends alone together (when the kids are with the ex's). But if I wait I'll be 36, 37

What do you all think????

'Old' is a state of mind.

If you feel ready to have a baby, dont let your age deter you from having a baby with your new husband. It sounds like he really wants one, and it sounds like you really want one, but just letting your age 'scare' you.

Think long and hard about it, and if you put your mind to it (think 'young momma' ) you can both be the best mommy and daddy in the world!

You are not too 'old' - dont every say that!! YOu are only as old as you feel - enjoy life - do what you want and do not let your age have any decision

You aren't too old. I am 39 soon to be 40 and am trying for another one since my husband was never married before and has no biological children of his own.

Good luck and have fun

I will be 35 and I am pregnant with my first.
Its not our fault that me and my DH didn't find each other in our twenties.
Many women are opting to start families later in life.

Don't be silly! I'm 35 and just had my little girl 8 weeks ago and I'll be 36 next week......we may want another one down the road..

Good Luck!

I agree with everyone here. You are not too old! I just turned 32 and no children yet. Dont plan on it for at least another year. Many women have children in their 30's (my own mom was 36 when my sister was born), its just a matter if you are ready, which sounds like you are soon.

I know , I know...........

But should we do it now, or spend some newlywed time and do it next year???

ONLY my opinion...I would start ASAP..you don't know what the man has planned for you upstairs...there are TOO many women TTC these days and it seems like it's getting harder and harder.

I am speaking from my own experience, it took me over and year and Fibroid Surgery to have my little peanut. Good luck to you whatever you decide.

I would just HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Use nothing, enjoy your time together... Only God knows whats in store for you two love birds!!!!! Definately talk it over with your DH and your Doc, and see what is advisable.. I would say maybe wait a few months, it really depends how long you two have been together, when you BOTH want to have another addition, if ALL the kids would be prepared for another transition...

I happen to think you are a wonderful age to have a baby!!! My idol (my mom) had my sister at 41!!! Nowadays people are doing it when they are ready!!! That, to me, is the best decision anyone can make!
