Amber had four shots on Friday night...UPDATE w/question

And it was terrible. She was crying so loud - I've never seen her cry like that. Anyway, she is still not 'herself'. Very tired, cranky and just not herself. Saturday was TERRIBLE. She was running a fever and freaked during swimclass (I guess her little legs hurt her). Has anyone had a child with this type of reaction and how long does it last? Teething aside, she was doing fine until then.

OMG 4 at once!! I would have freaked. I never allow my ped to do more that 2 at a time! Poor baby. Which shots did she get? Maybe you should call your ped and let them know.

My son has had 4 shots at once on 2 separate occasions. He didn't have any reactions though at all. I would call the doctor. That's how they do them I guess when they're that young.

One was a flu shot and the other three were her 2nd set of boosters. I'm going to call now - they said she might be cranky/warm initially but it's been two full days of her being flush and cranky and that is not my baby at all - she's the complete opposite of her crabby mamma - always all smiles!!

My daugher had 4 shots during her 2nd and 4th month. Except for being fussy for a day, she was fine. Her Dr. suggested we give her Tylenol after the shots. Since she was born premature, she is also getting shots monthly (for 5 months) to prevent RSV.

Re: Amber had four shots on Friday night...UPDATE

Well the doctor didn't seem overly concerned because she's not technically running a fever but she is acting 'off'. This morning she only did about four ounces of formula and then tossed the bottle on the floor. I picked it up, she pushed it away. Handed it back to her again and she tossed it. Fustrated, I poured some formula into a baby sippy cup. She got all excited and with my help, she drank down the remaining two ounces. There is no way she's just tired of the bottle, is there?!? She's only six months old. I'm just wondering if the nipple is aggravating her front teeth and it was easier for her to eat that way? Did anyone have this problem??? She HATES baby ora-gel, she clamps her lips down when I try to apply some.
