I can't stand Carmen!!! Hopefully she or Kimberly Caldwell will be voted off tonight.

Treynce - she oversings everytime, and is getting annoying!!

Clay - I love him, but I didn't like the beginning of the song last night.

Ruben was great but definitly predictible.

While Billy Joel lives on LI now....

Biography
Billy Joel was born William Martin Joel on May 9, 1949 in Bronx, New York. As a young child, his family moved to Levittown, a suburban housing development on Long Island in New York State. Billy discovered classical music at the age of four, a love that has stayed with him to the present day. Billy's early classical piano training provided him with a strong foundation for his future career.

Re: American Idol

Kim Caldwell - She grew up in the same place I did - outskirts of Houston - and I know her type very well. She could stand to be taken down a notch.

Ruben - While I agree that he could stand to try another type of song, I love him. Hands down the most pure talent on that stage.

Clay Aiken - A FLAMING dork (flaming being the operative word). If I see him mouth 'thank you' all humble like with his eyes closed one more time, I'm gonna smack his redhead all the way back to North Carolina. That being said, he has a fabulous future in showtunes.

Trenyce aka LaShaundra Cobbins- Get over yourself already. You ain't THAT fabulous, girl.

Carmen - she was wearing the dress with a T-shirt underneath because she is an observant Mormon and her religion forbids revealing clothing. I felt terrible for her but she ****ed, quite frankly.

Josh Gracin -Ugh. Major dork, yelping and hollering like Garth Brooks on crack. Terrible.

Kimberly Locke - Very good, a little uneven in her performances, didn't like the pantsuit. Probably second to Ruben in pure talent.

Re: American Idol

My favorites are Ruben and Kimberly Locke. I must say that I think that Kim is more talented and versatile than Ruben.

Ruben has a great voice, but he sings the same type of songs all the time. At this point I can not distinguish one perfromnce from the other. I think he needs to work on that aspect of his performing.

Goodbye Carmen!!!! If last night didn't prove she has ZERO talent, I have no idea what will.
I missed Rickie last night

OMG! RACHEL!!! I say the same thing about Clay and his 'thank you's!' LOL!!! Every week, I say to my mother 'there he goes!' I HATE IT! LOL! Too funny!

Re: American Idol

re Clay - I'm sure it's sincere (he seems as pure as Opie and apple pie) but by the same token it seems fake and insincere, like he is thanking all of adoring minions.

And to all those little teenage girls in the audience holding up 'I Love Clay Aiken' signs, I have one word for you:

Gaydar.

Re: American Idol

Honestly, I would love to see Clay win this, just so Ruben can get the record deal he's really entitled too, independent of this stinkin show. Clay can use his deal to become a quick and easy Josh Groban, sell a few hundred thousand, then take a role in Rent like he should.

Ruben stands to be a velvet teddy bear for the rest of his life, and I see Luther Vandross in this boys future! He should be given a record deal that won't make him a slave to the garbage this American Idol crap gives you, and he can make one hell of a quality album. Honestly, who could ever see Ruben acting in a lame-o movie like this Kelly/Justin crap they did??

Re: American Idol

Oh, and I would also like to add that I think Carmen should have her vocal chords removed for that butchering of 'And So It Goes'. It absolutely destroyed any and all of the meaning in that song, and stripped it of it's seriousness and sadness. Butchering Billy is unforgivable. Thank you.
