American Idol

Time for the weekly review...

I LOVED this week's genre--I love Billy Joel, although I must say he looked realllllly old in the interivews--o well! He's still the best!

Kimberly C--horrible--she needs to go-her time is up.....

Ruben--he was good as usual--I think I've seen him do better. Simon's comment was uncalled for--he looked cute though!

Kimberely L--she really grew on me-she looked beautiful tonight and sounded the best I think I've ever heard her--I doubt she will be in the bottom 3 tomorrow night.

Josh Gracin-he was good--

Clay--adorable & amazing as always--Simon's comment was interesting...

Trenyce--eh--she bothers me a little--she wasn't that good tonight

Carmen-she will definetely be eliminated this week-she sounded horrible but I felt so bad for her-they all just dumped on her--I think she needs to grow a little more thick skinned for the business-she looked like she was going to cry hysterically! Don't get me wrong-I would've too-but you can't be like that in entertainment!

Re: American Idol

Kimberly C - Eh... she was OK

Ruben - for the first time he impressed me (yes, I'm one of those people who don't see the whole Ruben thing)

Carmen - I just feel bad for her. And was it my eyes or was her face BADLY broken out?!

Trenyce - I LOVE her voice!! I can stand to see her in better outfits though!

Kimberly L - She's my favorite! Thought she was great!

Josh - I wasn't feeling the whole country singer mixed with Billy Joel thing. But the judges seemed to like it.

Clay - Sounded really good tonight, but I totally understand where Simon is coming from when he said he'd rather listen to him with his eyes shut.

Okay, I'm done!

I love Ruben but he sounds the same every week, so does Clay till this week! Carmen definately has to go BYE-BYE!! The rest of them were ok with the exception of Kim L she was great!!!!

OMG! I didn't want to say anything about Carmen's face BUT I totally noticed the same thing!

Re: American Idol

Here's my review:

Kimberly C - I thought she sounded great, but Simon is right so seems like she has more potential then she's showing and needs to step it up.

Ruben - I 100% agreed with Simon. I love Ruben but he sounds the same every week. He needs to show that he can do something else

Carmen - Awful does not even cover what she was. If she does not get voted out this week I think the show is fixed

Trenyce - First time I was impressed with her voice, but I don't like her.

Kimberly L - Thought she sounded great and earned herself the right to stay another week.

Josh - Did ok, but could have done better

Clay - I haven't been to happy with Clay the last couple of weeks and this week was no different. He's a broadway singer and he needs to prove that he can do something else. And I agree with Simon about his expressions.

Re: American Idol

I agree with what everyone else has said, Carmen has to GO!

But I have to ask, did anyone else realize the huge mistake made in the beginning? They said Billy Joel was from the Bronx!!!!!! ARE THEY RETARDED?!

Re: American Idol

Yeah, Carmen's face was totally broken out. What the Hell was she wearing? That green dress thing over a tee shirt with black high heels was not doing it for me.
Clay's expressions get on my nerves too. I like how he sings, but he's a little too broadway.
Another thing, how tall/short is Ryan Seacrest (sp?)? He was standing next to clay, and clay was towering over him. Another funny thing I noticed is how big, like giant big, Ruben is. Next time there is a group shot, look how huge his head is. I was LMAO.

Re: American Idol

Yes...Carmen was pretty bad...I can't stand that yodeling thing she does with her voice. It really gets on my nerves. I have to admit though I really felt bad for her. I wanted to cry for her.

Kim C...I can't stand her...I would actually prefer her to get voted off before carmen

Kim L....awsome job...she sounded great

Clay...sounded good but I have to agree with Simon his faces are a little cheesy

Josh...ok

Ruben...good as always although I have to admit he does sing the same type of song every week

trenyce....I think she sounded good but something about her annoys me...I can't figure out what it is though...so if anyone knows what it might be please let me know

Oh and Simon....he was awsome...I LOVE HIM!!!

Re: American Idol

Actually everyone sounded good tonight except Carmen and Kimberly C....its their time to go!! But I love Clay...his voice is crystal clear and Kimberly L hit that song really well!!

Misty, I looked on the Billy Joel website....he was born in the Bronx but then moved to Levittown as a child. Love Billy Joel!!!

Re: American Idol

Carmen..... HAS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!

Kim C...I thought she was ok

Kim L....fantastic!!! She really impressed me!!

Clay...Was good!!

Josh...I LOVE HIM!!!! I thought he did great!

Ruben...I thought he was very good. But, I see him more as a Luther Vandross then Barry White

trenyce....Still annoys the tick at me. Didn't love the song. And that dress was very Madonna 1989

Re: American Idol

Misty - THANK YOU!! I noticed that mistake too, saying that Billy Joel is from the Bronx. How about good 'ole LONG ISLAND!!!

I had to laugh when Simon made that comment about Clay's faces - I was JUST thinking that very same thing right before he made that comment. Clay sings out of the side of his mouth sometimes, and it's really annoying! But, he sounded really good last night. Kimberly L. was good and Trenyce, even though she was a little off in tone and her moves are a little annoying, I thought she was good too. Kimberly C, Ruben, Josh were all so-so.
Carmen - as usual, she bombed.

Oh, just saw Jen's comment about BJ being born in the Bronx....

Re: American Idol

I missed it, but my sis saved it for me, so I'll try and watch it tonight.

BUT based on the past shows and the above reviews, I hope CARMEN gets the BOOT

Re: American Idol

Did anyone else notice after Carmens song Simon gave her a bad review and Randy said 'finally, it's about time'. I guess they could not believe either how Simon has seemed to be pushing for her even when she bombed!

Re: American Idol

My review:

Carmen was awful but I do like her. I think she chooses the wrong songs & outfits all the time.

Kim C: I absolutely hate her. She is way too confident and her attitude stinks. She has a good voice but I just don't like her and I hope she gets voted off.

Rubin: I really like him but agree with Simon that he should take a chance and sing another type of song.

Kimbery L: Wow. She gets better each week and I have grown to like her a lot.

Josh: Ok but I hate his facial expressions when he sings.

Tereyce: She has a good voice but I think she is too much of a diva.

Clay: He was great but I don't see people buying records from him.

Re: American Idol

I think simon was right on last night...

Ruben is predictable...
I can't stand Clay's facial expressions...never could
Josh...I can't stand him...I don't think that Simon wantsa to sign a country singer as the 'American Idol'
