American Idol.............

I almost had a heart attack when they said Ruben was in the botton 2
Did you see Joh's face...he knew he was going to be one of the bottom 2, and it looked like he was dissappointed that Ruben was there and not him. I think he knows Ruben is so well liked.

Did you see the judges faces?? I thought Simon was going to start yelling!

Josh was lucky last night. He should be the next to go. What are these voters thinking??

I have never called to vote, but maybe I should..lol

I think next week all 3 judges are going to bash Josh just so America doesn't vote for him. we had a thread going last night where we said we ALL would vote next week so this doesn't happen again!

I couldn't believe it. We tuned in just as they were down to Josh and Ruben. I said there goes Josh and then we heard it was RUBEN!!! I guess his fans just didnt call in, either that or the entire Marine Corp did.

I think what it is, is that voters take it for granted that Reuben will win, so they don't vote for him, they vote for the ones they want to see stay on and are in danger of losing.
SO what we all have to do is VOTE for Reuben of course
And you can vote as much as you want.......

I can't BELIEVE it!!!!! I definately thought Josh would go. I really think Reuben is AWESOME (and I love his dimples)but he will have competition with Clay. Clay is good too but he has the advantage b/c all the girls love him.

No need for Reuben to fear though I'm sure he'll get a contract no matter what

I was screaming at the tv and in TOTAL shock last night!!!! My DH was cracking up at my reaction! I told him that America is in favor of Josh just because he's a Marine. How can Ruben POSSIBLY be in the bottom 2??!! That was so stupid and America better wake up and start voting for the right person, based on TALENT, not patriotic sympathy!!!!!

There is NO way that Rueben was in the bottom 2 unless the producers set it up to make people react! Insane. Josh doesn't deserve to be there anymore. Everyone knows it, even him.

Michele I was thinking the same thing. This had to have been a set-up. Maybe that is why Ryan kept saying over and over to make sure you vote for your favorite. I think they were trying to get a rise out of America!

I truly don't care whether he is gay or not - he has a very nice voice but better suited to Broadway than pop music - but to vote for him because you're hot for him is really screwing the deserved winner Rueben!

I dont think it was set up. Because there is a prize involved, the FCC regulates it. If FOX were ever found out to have rigged the game then they could lose their broadcasting license. Why would they risk that over something so minor?

I just think Josh has a very large # of people who are voting for him b/c he is a Marine. I dont think its right but its true.

Add that to the fact that everyone says good things about Reuben so maybe people arent picking up the phone to vote for him b/c they think he is 'safe'.

Im a little shocked at how popular Reuben is. He has a great voice but so does Kim and so does Clay. Rueben seems sweet but he doesnt have much stage personality and I cant stand what he wears!
I think Kim should take it!
