AMEX gift certificate?

AMEX gift certificate?

I didn't think this would be too hard to find, but on AMEX's website they charge a hefty handling fee - any idea where I can buy these GCs?

hmmmm - I wonder if they do - will have to call my bank tomorrow and find out - thanks.

a bank will have them and an American Express travel agency sells them. I am not sure if you want to pay cash or credit card but some banks do not accept credit cards and I am pretty sure an Amex Travel agency will accept a credit card

I bank at Chase and I know you can buy then there (I just did a few weeks ago). Not all banks sell them from what I understand, but most of the bigger ones do...

I just did a thread on this last week! I got them @ my bank--there was a little fee involved-for a $100 check it was $102--big deal! LOL

AAA does sell them though but I had no clue how to get them--you don't get charged the fee though.

I missed that thread! The charge I last saw on their website was like $8 or so - for any card! (I'm planning to buy a $50 GC)

Thanks again all! I went to my bank last week and bought an AMEX gift cheque for a $2 fee!
