I know that bridal mags tell you certain times to get things but I want to hear it from real brides when you all.....
got your cake and flowers
For my flowers I only need 4 B-Ks and 2 crousages......we are not doing floral CPs and the guys are not wearing the flowers on their jackets.

i didnt get the cake - im getting it directly through RH as for the flowers i booked 5 months before adn im getting a lot. so you have time

Because you need so little from the florist you can wait till a few months before hand.
The cake I am getting through my RH so I have no idea otherwise

you have plenty of time. I would probably look at a cake before the flowers since you arent doing floral CPs.

im not ordering my cake till a few weeks before the wedding....flowers i decided on a few months ago

My suggestion is at least book a florist that you want to go with- you have plenty of time to get the flowers. My RH is providing a cake for us- so that we'll know when we go to finalize everything.
