An email from my shower crashers...*UPDATE*

I have been bawling and fighting on the phone for over 1 hour now.. Please tell me this is tacky coming from two 40+ year old women..
FYI: this is after sending an email asking for my cheerleaders home addresses so I could send a thank you. You know, since the card said 'To Coach Heather.. Love, Your cheerleaders .... and G & D'

There is no need to send a thank you to your team, it was only from Denise and I. We put your 10 year old team, just to be nice so you thought it was also from them. We only had heard about it 2 days before the shower, so no one chipped in for the gift but us. We were told to stop by your shower, we were in the store for 1 ½ trying to pick out a nice gift for our coach. We wanted to get you something that you could really use, we did not have any idea where you were registered. The reason we gave you this gift was because you are the 1st of our coaches getting married and you have been in our league from the start. We thought we were doing a good thing stopping at the shower and giving you a beautiful gift, spending a lot more than we would normally spend. Unfortunately you did not even announce from Grace and Denise you only mentioned your cheerleaders, now I am being told that you did not even like the vacuum, it wasn’t the right one, that is fine why do you think we attached the gift receipt. It wasn’t the right one, well excuse me like we said we had no idea where you were registered. The vacuum was not cheap and it was only from two people. You do not have to worry, we will not be crashing your wedding, I do not plan on giving a gift to a girl that is extremely ungreatful, we really thought that we had a better repore with you. My apologies for giving such a crappy gift. Enjoy your wedding, someday you will realize that what we did was a nice thing.
PS: Kohl’s is a nice store to shop in, sorry it didn’t suit your needs.

Dona sent the email to my email at home, I tried 3X’s to send you a response but to no avail it was not working for some reason, I could not send at email’s out. I was asking you if you would like the girls email addresses or would you like their full address at home. I have all the email addresses at my fingertips right now. The addresses I would just have to pick up from Denise, she has my book or bible I should say.
Let me know which one’s you would need.
Also, I was not finished talking with you that night. My husband was pissed because I cooked him dinner and I did not call him up for dinner and his food was cold. He was like you are b.s. and you forgot about me. I am sorry for abruptly getting off the phone. Again I apologize for the email, I should have spoken to you first. And if your mother-in-law did in fact pay for me, please advise, I have no problem paying for myself. It wouldn’t be right if she had too, I see all your points, but I hope you could see mine. I was very upset when I heard all this stuff and I didn’t think to speak with you first. When I make a mistake, I am the 1st to admit it, if I am right about something I will argue tooth and nail. But in this case I made a mistake and I am truly sorry. I hope that we could put this behind us and continue to work together. I really do like you very much that is why I had no problem wanting to get you a gift for your shower. What a mess. I apologize, and please tell Vinny I am sorry too, I am embarrassed that he has to know about my mistake.
