If that happened to me (after I already gave in my final count & payment) I'd definitely call & tell the RSVPer that they sent it too late and that I'm not going to be able to have them there. That's really stupid. I'd be sooo mad

You must've missed the email about how it's fine for people to do whatever they want, even though they know they had to RSVP before a certain time for a reason. I mean, it's not like you had to guarantee a certain amount of people, or make sure that everone's plate was paid for or anything like that. pshhh

Also, what date was it post marked? Just out of curiosity. Maybe it wasn't their fault at all, it could've been lost by the post office.

actually it was a no...but this was someone my FMIL told me to count as a yes.

wow...that's so rude!!!!!!! i just don't understand how people think.
i have a number of outstanding people and i can't understand why it's so hard to respond on time..
i can understand that sometime people need to make travel arrangements or babysitting ..etc. But even after a phone call some ppl still havent said yes or no!!!! wat a P.I.T.A!!!!!!!

The lack of consideration people have is unbelievable. Honestly, how much easier can it get for a guest - the envelope is already addressed and stamped!!

People are insane and most have no couth.

Because of course...a wedding costs next to nothing, who really needs a final head count, and no one puts any thought into their favors........

You should tell her about it and hopefuly she can say something to these people so it doesn't happen again with them to another bride!

I had 3 cancelations....2 days after i gave the RH my final headcount!!!
