And one more question...tipping the MAC trial makeup artist?

Going to a MAC store at the mall today. Do I tip the girl doing the makeup trial on me or no?

THANKS!!!

I don't think that is necessary since you have to buy $50 worth of products. Then your purchase goes towards their commissions.....(i think)

I am one of these girls only I work for Clinique. We are not aloud to take tips but I am sure she would appreciate the offer....Not a lot though she will get 100% profit for the wedding day

I have a best friend who works for Mac. She always appreciates tips. $10 is probably fine.

Oops....I feel bad I didn't tip. I had to rush the heck out of there to catch my bus to NYC for the epics. And I didn't have any smaller bills! I feel so bad. Should I go by another day this week and drop it off or should I just forget about it? He did a great job...and he was so sweet. I felt awful though. I won't be using him for the wedding or anything- I just did it to have my makeup done for the shoot...and of course to get some cool MAC stuff.

Ugh I feel so bad!!!

did you buy something? if so, that makes up for not tipping.

You're actually required to purchase at least $45 worth of products at that MAC location in order to have an appointment with a makeup artist. I spent over $60!

Ugh I feel bad anyway!
