11 days remaining.....so,my cousin and wife and daughter arent coming..not suprised, he lives in PA and needs to come back on the 22nd for my aunts surgery, so understandable he cant take off from work for both...and my friend who lives in Conneticut emails me today to tell me that she will come see me at the chruch but boyfriend has to watch his daughter that weekend and exwife already has plans..so cancellation. Both are understandable..but very disappointing considering the fact that my wedding is really small already...65 people.. I had anticipated around 75 people but we had a few deaths and illnesses on both sides....I am just really disappointed, I feel my wedding will be ridiculously small.

Your wedding will be beautiful and I doubt you will even notice the missing people that day.

Hey, I had 51 people at my wedding. It should have been 55 but 4 people cancelled the day before I think our wedding was perfect. I thought it would seem stupidly small, but it wasn't. I still felt like I didn't have enough time to talk to everyone for as long as I wanted. Your day will be perfect and I am sure you will appreciate the amount of people at the end.

i totally hear you on this! I am so afraid for the cancellations to come in. Almost 50% of my guest list replied no..so I am having 'Small wedding sydrome' too. I was super depressed for the last week and was finally able to pull myself out of it. Hopefully you will too. I know the cancellation is a setback no one wants, but your wedding will still be gorgeous and amazing no matter if they're there or not

Another small wedding here, we guaranteed a min of 50 guests at ours and so far we have 46 people who RSVP'ed yes (verbally or by mail). If our RH allows us to count the vendors toward our minimum, we should be just fine. I didn't want a big wedding - too many headaches and stress.

I am just afraid with such a small number...people might not get up and dance and the 'party' aspect of the wedding will be kinda tame. That honestly is my greatest fear. I also think I just get used to seeing people on here saying how they are having like 200 guests...and it makes me feel kinda pathetic..LOL.
Hey, on the upside...less people I have to pay for!!

OMG! I am so worried about a pathetic looking dance floor too lol! You're so right about the paying for less people! Its like every time we got a 'no', I'd b!tch about it, and FH would rejoice in the fact that we're less!

I made my sister in laws swear they would get up and dance...
seriously...like I said, I was expecting to have like 80 people..so I am ending up paying like $1500 less at this point..so that is a good thing.

Don't feel sorry for yourself! I wanted to have a small wedding like 75 people but now it's up to over 100 and I wish there were some people I didn't have to invite like my mom's friends.

Re: And so,the cancellations, begin...
People still get up and dance trust me! All my peeps were outside since it was a weird hot March day and I'd say half the crowd was inside (75) and they danced!
Is there liquor? People will dance lol.
I know the room you are in and 65 will look crowded enough!
ps: My BFF and her GF want to get married and think only 50 will show since they are gay (a shame) but it will be great just the same. Quality of quantity!!!!!!!!!!
