...out! just got back from the post office and the lady was so nice. She said she'd hand cancel them on her break b/c they would look better than if they were run through the machine!!!!

i wanted to ask for the option of hand cancelling, but i felt bad. then out of no where she said that she'd do it on her BREAK - who would've thought the USPS is so nice...lol

hand cancelling is when they stamp the invites w/the round stamp showing the date/location rather than the squiggly lines throught the machine that are inked over the stamp.

I know I probably sent the invites out a tad early, but my fiance's bday is 12/20 and i figured that he should get some rsvps on his bday... :)

You know you are getting married. You know you are planning a wedding but there are just certain things that make it feel real. I think ordering the dress and mailing out the invites is really a wake up call. The rest seems so surreal! That's awesome! Congrats!

I'm so glad you wrote that - I'm planning on mailing mine out this week, and when I saw that you're getting married just about a month after me, I almost had a heart attack!!
