Angel.. Who watched last night???

Am I supposed to feel bad for Fred/Islis? I seriously don't.

They fired Gun?

I told Jim last night after the show that if the .. what are they called?.... Powers that be, knew of this chic (obviously they destroyed her army and land) AND they knew that Fred was gonna die, prehaps they let it all happen so that it could fracture the group.

Look:
Fred's gone
Wesley's draught and really off his rocker
Gun is gone (not included in the group anymore but has all the legal brains, so now they lose that)
Lauren (sp?) is off his rocker too, total depression, second guessing himself.
Spike is gonna stay for this so-called bigger war that he feels coming
Angel feels like crap for losing ANOTHER female to evil, second guessing himself and how has a completely fractured team.

Lets face it, if you really wanted to F' with them, then this was VERY effective with just one soul.

Thoughts? Discussions? ANYONE watch it??

This is FH's favorite show (why????) so I watch it. I hate Fred, so I hope she's truly gone, at least as we knew her.

Wes is my favorite (he's hot!) and I love when he goes all bad a$$.

Apparently this is the last season, so maybe they are slowly getting rid of people. And with Spike's hint about a big war coming, I guess that's foreshadowing for the big kill-off at the end of the season.

I could be way off base about that, but I heard that rumor somewhere.

LOL...he's the only reason I watch the show!!

Jim and I are hooked.
We missed a lot of the older episodes.
So we are just NOW watching the end of the series with Jasmine.

Then we watch the current season.

*shrug*

I feel bad for Fred. I actually liked her.

and now poor wesley has to deal with this old one looking like her.
i can't believe they let another female die. Now only Harmony is left.

I wanted Willow to come back!!!

(and i still like the show!!!)

I was sad to see Fred go, but who thinks that this Ilyria may become part of 'the team' now? Anything's possible, I guess. Gunn is okay with everyone except wes, really. Angel feels just as guilty and responsible.
They definitely need another female....

I have to say though, I am LOVING Spike on this show! Almost as much as on Buffy!

For now..
We to believe Fred aint coming back no way no how, but that Illira person in her body has fragmented memories of Fred's. Wes is going to help her learn to live in our world since hers was destroyed and Wes still loves the body even if the soul isnt there (heh, men, heh)

Spike is staying around

Gun feels like crap and is fired (gun fired haha what a pun) left him crying as Harmony gave him papers to sign. Lauren was left sitting on a couch all bummed out too.

I don't feel bad for Illyira (I think that's her name?) But I feel sad that Fred's 'gone' - dead or otherwise, because she finally did something about Wes. Because heaven's forbid he say something to her first....LOL

I agree. Didn't one of them (even Eve maybe?) say that this was how the senior Partners wanted to destroy Angel and the fang gang? By alienating each of them?

So far I was up in the air about this season at W&H. I miss the female attorney. She was great. And I miss Cordy big time. It was great having her on a few weeks ago and now she's dead.

Last week was weird, but hysterically funny. Puppet Angel!

I never thought I'd be so into this show, I didn't like Buffy when it first was on TV, I got into it in the 5th season, and Angel by association.

I also think you might be right, X - now that they know the show won't be coming back they might just have the actress that played Fred play out the rest of the season as Illyira.

The season that Fred showed up was good. I loved that arc. I missed all of the first season, when Doyle was on (he was the same actor that played Roseanne's son in law on the show Roseanne. He was irish though, and he died last year of a drug overdose )


My friend went to college with Andy Hallet, who plays Lorne. He's really cute under the makeup, I saw a pic of him online once. His club was the best. One year, I think it was the 2nd season, he 'read' Angel by having Angel sing a song and the only one he knew by heart was Barry Manilow's Mandy and god did he massacre that song! But it was hysterical. I love the interaction between Spike and Angel too, too funny. And even FH said that this show has some of the best lines on TV.
