So I had my heart set on going to Tahiti for our HM, but it's just too expensive. I was looking into Anguilla, which I would also LOOOOVE to go to, and it looks more reasonable. I have looked through a lot of reviews and it looks like everyone just loved Anguilla
So now that I have my heart set on something new, I am wondering how much Anguilla costs for like 7 days. Can it be done on $6-8K? Thanks!!!!

Absolutely. Head to a travel agent and see what deals they can work out for you regarding air fare and hotels.

Thanks! I'm excited now! I've been trying to look up prices online and the good news is that we would be going in June 2008 and June-August seems to be the cheapest time of year to go. Yey!

I heard Cap Juluca in Anguilla is absolutley gorgeous. Not sure of the prices though.

Check out Cuisinart-hotel & spa-they have packages on their website for a meal plan and a demo meals-in which the chef cooks with you and teaches you and then you eat the meal (a few courses plus wine pairing) very exclusive resort-I think about 96 rooms in total. Fabulous place.

Anguilla is amazing. DH and I were just there for our honeymoon. We stayed at Cap Juluca. The time we went and the time you will be going next year is considered their 'slow' season so room rates are cheaper. We stayed in a one bedroom private pool suite. It was incredible, still a little pricey but we didn't mind spending a little extra.

I LOVED Anguilla!!!! I want to LIVE there!!! We rented a private villa.. Heres the site: http://www.fletchscove.com. It had one bedroom that led out to a balcony over looking the ocean, kitchen 3 bathrooms, a cabana, living room, private pool and private beach.. They have a honeymoon package that includes a whole bunch of goodies.. We also rented a car and explored the Island... If you do decide to go there FM me I can tell you all the Island Places to check out... You can check my albums to see all my pics, It was amazing!
My trip including villa for week package, airfare, and car rental was under 5k... I think you can do it without a travel agent... I work for a travel wholesaler.. But I searched and booked everyting online myself... Just do a search for Anguilla Villas on google. We used Avis for Car Rental.
