annoyed and disappointed

annoyed and disappointed

we had an appt with Jadore Love today...they were supposed to meet us at our apartment

and we were hoping to book them today

and they cancelled

i confirmed with the wife LAST NIGHT at like 8 pm!

im beyond annoyed right now, we both cleared our schedules and prepared food for them since they were traveling to us from BK

FH feels like he is done with them and doesn't want to reschedule, he feels it was unprofessional

i reallllly like their work but I kind of have to agree with him

what to do??!!!!

I agree with FH.

What they are doing is VERY unprofessional! I would look for a new photographer! STAT!!

yeah i'm w FH. I dont take that as a good sign. I know they do great work but I wouldn't want to worry I'd have an issue with them at a later date.

and I'd also tell them you're not booking them if you decide not to and why.

i have to agree with your FH - i just wouldnt want to go through under the stress if something does happen the day of the wedding. I mean, you JUST confirmed last night. Fine maybe there was an emergency - but isn't there somebody else that you can meet? Sorry to hear that... i would be pissed

yikes, i would probably side with FH on this one. stuff like that really annoys me though.

if you do wind up going with them, i would let them know that you were considering booking with someone else because of tonight's cancellation. just to let them know it's not acceptable.

have you had any other issues with them?

I had the same problem. We would book an appt and he would cancel an hour before. He did this twice. I was like forget this I'm done. Not with this particular photographer. I would give them a second chance because things do come up but if it happens again screw it and go with someone else

My friends used Jadore and they are sweet people... my friends loved them... Things happen, I understand your frustration but I wouldnt totally cut them out of your options....

it's a monday...and you have this super important shoot that you suddenly 'had to cover for?'

andddd the entire month we have been communicating, it was me and the wife via email

today, the husband calls my FH
meanwhile we never spoke to the husband, nor did FH

I emailed them I was upset
I get an email back completely not acknowledging my email

saying ' sorry we have to cancel, let us know when we can reschedule, we look forward to meeting you.'

i don't know what to do!

thats what FH said...hes like they are a husband/wife time, if they dont have backup for a booking appt...what happens if wedding day one gets sick, then what??!!

Aww, maybe give them one more chance? I only say that because the brides who've used them seem to be EXTREMELY happy with their pictures and they are very affordable.

Definitely out if they strike out again, though

I def agree with ur FH....there are sooo many options out there that vendors should never leave a bride waiting at the last minute! Go someplace else!

My situation was hard. I live out of state and would make appointments to come down to NY to meet my photog. The first appointment was when it was the middle of that horrible heatwave 4th of July weekend. He had to cancel cause of electrical issues at home. In Sept we agreed to meet again and confirmed the night before and he called an hour before we were supposed to meet to cancel cause of a work meeting. That was it for me. I would still meet with them and see how the meeting goes. If you gut is telling you not to go with them then you listen to your gut. If they cancel the second appointment, definitely decide to go with someone else. They might be freelance and do photography on the side and have an actual job during the week, so that might be who the husband had to cover for. If you absolutely love their work at least check it out.
