annoyed and sick- help!

i have a sore throat- all the medication i have in the house is for Itchy throat. what should i send FH to the store to buy to alleviate this PAIN?!

on the annoying end, FH wants to go to the mall and he's getting pis$ed at me because i dont feel like going.

had a sore throat earlier in the week..

I used Halls Defense Vitamin C drops that helped keep my throat moist, I gargled with warm salt water / alternating with Listerine and I drank a lot of warm liquids, mostly herbal teas with honey.
It worked for me.
