annoyed at FSIL (with update)

Original post by AwaitingAugust

FH and I went out on Saturday with his two brothers, their wives, and their kids.

I took a bunch of pictures and posted a few on FB. When I went to tag FSIL, i noticed we were no longer friends. So i re-requested her friendship and got a facebook email this morning that said that she removed me on purpose because i didn't ask her son to be the RB, even though i asked FH's niece to be the FG (ps: she did accept my friendship request)

How juvenile is this! it's ridiculous! her son's a year old and would never walk down the aisle by himself!!! we told her this from the get-go! We also said that it doesn't mean we don't love him, nor that he won't be in pictures and whatnot!

uch, i'm kind of pissed ... removing people off your FB is soooo childish.

every day, i hate FH's family a little bit more

ETA: there's an update at the bottom

Can you have FH speak to her? I have been de-friended by two of FH's aunts (both claim to have done it 'accidetally').

At this point, I actually refuse to speak to either one of them (one is the mother of my jr bm) and everytime they do something childish FH deals with it b/c its his family.

thing is that FH *has* spoken to FSIL (and his bro too) when the issue first came up about 4 months ago (when we asked his niece to be the FG, but didn't ask the nephew to be involved) ... i'm actually shocked it's still an issue!

Maybe he should speak to her again b/c she clearly does not understand and is taking it out on you and your wedding.

yeah, i think i'll just ignore her email and pretend she's over it.

i don't need to explain myself to her (especially since i already HAVE explained myself to her ... multiple times!)

I think this is the best course of action...otherwise, if it were me I'd end up telling her off...something along the lines of she's married, she had a wedding, so shouldn't she understand that its about the bride/groom and what they want and not about the self, attentionwhore FSIL???
