Annulment

Hey ladies. Has anyone else had to deal with annulment issues? My FH was married once before in the Catholic church. I would love to have my wedding in a church but the annulment process is takibg forever. He started it a year and a half ago and still no decision, and our date is 10/11/15. I really want to get married in a church but if that's not to be then I at least want to know so I can arrange something else. Anyone else go through this? I'm so stressed and haven't really had the chance to enjoy my engagement and this is just adding to the upsetment. Thanks for listening.

Annulment

Last year I converted to Catholicism and in my RCIA program there was a man who was getting an annulment. It took him over 2 years to get it approved. Both parties had to write a letter to the church explaining whey their marriage failed. Since he was active in the church, alot of people were pushing for the annulment (otherwise he couldnt go thru with the converting) I would suggest going to your parish and speaking to someone. Maybe they could speed the process up?
