Another crinoline slip question...

I had David's credit so I bought my slip there today....Burton's said it would be about $60. It was $49 at David's..woohoo.....one size was a tiny bit tight (you could see a seam/indentation bc of it).....I bought the next size up...it's a tiny, tiny bit loose...will that be an issue? I go for my fitting next week.....ugh...clearly I'm just stressing about everything!

Re: Another crinoline slip question...

i don't think it's a problem at all.
especially since the seamstress can also make it a bit smaller if need be.
also, i'm no seamstress but i can sew and worked on a lot of costumes and what not both at the store and while working in theater so if they say they are going to charge you a lot, i might be able to help you out for free.

don't sweat the small stuff kiddo, we'll get you through it!

Don't stress!!! ( I should take my own advice)

I'm sure it will be fine and if it's not, you can always ask your seamstress to alter it like Kerri had suggested.

Good luck sweetie!!!! It's almost here!!!

Re: Another crinoline slip question...

I got a free crinoline from a neighbor (who said, 'When the heck am I gonna wear THAT again') who is a bit bigger than me. It's loose on my waist (but won't slip past my hips). It looks fine underneath my dress, but if it's an issue, I'll get a safety pin.
