You know what's stupid? People commenting on other people's religious ideals to begin with.
I have never heard about this tradition and my first reaction would be to say, 'Wow, I never knew that. That's really interesting.' End of story. Anyone who says things like 'that's stupid' - is actually, um, truly stupid.
A lot of uneducated idiots out there or else just super young and immature perhaps.

i think that is the case he is very young and immature
never mind the fact that he got married in september and FH and I couldnt go - but we gave him $150
we got his response back (also a no) and no gift!!!

I don't know what I'm going to do... I have a small diamond band (see my album) and I am going to want to wear that all the time. I can't really think of a situation where I wouldn't want to wear my rings except for maybe my honeymoon? But... maybe I should get a plain band as well?
My current plan is to get married in my grandmothers wedding band (a solid continuous yellow gold band) which she got married in, my mom got married in, and one of my aunts got married in. It's something old and something borrowed.....
If I do get a second band I'd probably still want to get married in my grandma's ring but I'm not sure...

Laura, if you got pizzed off every time someone had diarreah of the mouth, you'd be pizzed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 364 days a year... it's not worth it... just brush it off your shoulder. People who sputter ignorance like that don't deserve your harsh reaction.

I've found that there are SO many people out there who just don't think before they speak or really don't care what they say!

I'm sorry people suck sometimes. I am not jewish and we have plain gold two toned bands. I just like the way they look. I saw pics of your bands and they are really nice.
