How do I get from Babylon to the village? I take the LIRR to Penn and then subway to Greenwich right?? (I'm Manhattan-illiterate)

yeah i'm pretty sure you can take the 2 or the 3 and that they will both take you down town.

oh ok thats easy then...Just take the E train going downtown and get off at 14th street.

the 2 OR the 3 should stop at 14th and 7th...so then you'll only be about a block away!!

You're welcome....when you get off at 14th street you will see signs for like 14th and 8th bc it leaves you off on 8th

yes i am pretty sure you can take either one. but i think denise is right that the E will take you exactly where you want to be, whereas the 2 or 3, you will have to walk a block or two.

yeah they will all go there, alot of trains stop at 14th street its a popular stop...at penn station, they have the A, C, E and the 1, 2 and 3. Either one you take will get you where you have to go dont worry about it
You can use penn station as your starting address and then put in the address you're going to and it'll tell you which train to take from there, how many stops you'll be passing, which exit to use when leaving the subway station and which way to walk when you get out of the subway station.
