How long does it take to get from NY to the actual Sandals resort in St. Lucia?

We are taking a fligth that leaves JFK at 7:30 am and we get there at around 4
however, this is not a direct flight...we are going from JFK to Barbados then switching to a prop plane for a 40 minute flight to st. lucia.
Thank goodness we are flying 1st class to Barbados...BUT I would also look into the charter flights. Sandals has a direct charter flight that leaves every Sunday...I am sure it takes less time

I am leaving on a Sunday from Newark, NJ at 11:00 am and getting there by 4:00 pm. Direct flight with Continental.

MayDay I took that flight. It is awesome. They call it the champagne Express. There are all couples on it who just got married and are going there. We met so many great people who we hung out with for the week and still talk to.

Thanks Heather - I am so excited! I couldn't deal with the flight if it wasn't a direct flight. I live on LI, how did you get to Newark? Did you take a shuttle?
