I am already married so I am asking for a friend. Her Maitre'D told her that if she feeds her band she doesn't have to tip them. Is that true? She has a 12 person band so that is a lot of meals and a lot of tips. what do you think?

I would tip them and still feed them.
In regards to feeding them - they should be 1/2 or 1/3 the price...
