Re: Another wedding project done this weekend! Here are my invites!!!!

Thanks! Actually thats what I thought was done originally too and that would be incredibly expensive.

The calligrapher makes one copy, and then is taking it to her printer who copies it exact on the paper. She sent me samples of this and you could never in a million years see the differnce between her original and what the printer did. Its the same ink and everything.

I think it was 200. to design the set, then somewhere between 50-100 to print them, plus I had to buy my own stationary so it wasn't inexpensive, but not crazy.

Thanks for the compliments!

Here is a description because I realized you can't really see the edges:

Crane's hand-applied a silver bevel to these heavy 96lb. Pearl White Kid Finish® cards. Each card measures 4 ¼ x 6 3/8 inches.

Love 'em!

But I'm biased. We used similar ones by William Arthur.

Are you going to do a menu on the same card stock?

Jenny5150! I was thinking that the second you posted, I thought to myself 'she had really pretty invites, I wonder what shes is going to say about mine'

Re: Another wedding project done this weekend! Here are my invites!!!!

oh duh, I didnt even answer your question, I think I might print the menus as part of my programs since we;re getting married in the same place. I haven't decided yet tho...

is that what you did?

Re: Another wedding project done this weekend! Here are my invites!!!!

We had the menus printed on the same cardstock as our ceremony invite. I was going to make them myself, but then DH said we could order them to cut down my wedding workload. Our Menu

We did our programs on the computer. I purchased the heavy weight linen paper from the paper store on Rt. 110 and ordered thin satin ribbon from Papermart.com: Our Programs

Love your invites! Very classy & elegant! You'll definitely get a positive response from them!!!!
