...what cocktail area goes with what room? It looks like the far one that is closer to Jericho has a path that leads it to the Manor Rm and the near one is right outside the Garden Rm. Is this the setup?

Not sure if this helps. I emailed FI. He was so good when we went looking at places - asking all these questions I never thought of. Thought he might know where the smaller room has the cocktail hour and all. He said on our contract the BM wrote where we have the cocktail if it rains and if it doesn't rain. This was written next to the room your reception will be in. Not sure if everyone has this on there contract or if we asked her to write it down. I don't have a copy with me, but if you girls do you can check. That might help.

mine is written that way too, as far as listing the alternative room. I read every word when I signed it but then forgot it all!

Okay here is how it goes. GArden room gets the outside garden closest to JEricho. The Monor Room gets the area with the fountain. I knwo it makes sense to have it the other way areound but the monor room which holds more gets the fountain, I guess you pay more so you get more. I wanted the founbtain but they said no since we have the garden room, which is accross from the library.

I just found out my friends that got married there had bubbles. I don't know what restrictions they had though.

cool thanks. I'm just afraid that we get the bubbles, and then its a rainy day and we can't use the bubbles in doors in case the floor gets slippery or whatever. I'm sure we can throw anything outside, but if it ends up indoors we may not be able to use anything. (our ceremony will be in manor room if it rains)

Okay, so FH called and found out that indeed we have the far cocktail area closer to Jericho (which makes no sense, but oh well). The bathroom upstairs is for the bridal suite, but she didn't mention if two brides share it. And my other question was about liquor. It was answered. FH said BM was abrupt and sounded like she was in a hurry. He sounded intimidated and didn't want to ask other things. Poor guy. So cute

i never think to ask questions with these people... then it hits me later on and i feel stupid that i have to ask them these things... LOL (i hate calling people and asking questions, so this may be FH's job.) he has to call them anyway to get a Rabbi from them.
