It depends on the comment and who it is coming from. My father drives me CRAZY with his comments, but they're usually about how I'm trying to do too much too soon. My mom on the otherhand doesn't like my centerpiece, but I couldn't care any less about her comments. I guess it depends on the day you catch me too

There's a fine line between 'in my opinion' or 'personally' and being mean. There are a few people here who prefer mean/rude/arrogant over being nice.
i agree with this. i think you can disagree but still be supportive. sometimes i see these hit and run comments that make assumptions about a bride's character and those are hard to take.

if i don't like something thats posted on here, i won't post anything. sometimes i think to myself how gross something is but what's the point of saying that? It's my opinion and if this person doesn't know me from a whole in the wall why would they care if i don't like.

I can handle criticism but have a problem when it is obvious someone is going out of their way to say something negative. I don't get upset at that point but it does bother me. Opinions are just that. It's my wedding, not anyone elses and when that day comes, my FH and I are the one's who have to be pleased.

It really depends on the situation and who the person is that has an opinion different than mine. Usually I can't take it if it's my mother. Anyone else I can handle constructive criticism. It's just that sometimes my mom likes to....well, be a mom!

There are certain comments that are made that sometimes upset me, I'll admit it. But then I tell myself that it was my wedding and it was perfect for ME!! Other people can do what they want for their day, it's the uniqueness that makes it so much more special.
