Anxiety Meds for My Kitty

K.C. is chronically going out side the litter box. We've tried almost everything and even replaced carpeting more than once.

This is the last resort to help him. Along with the meds is some behavior training and I hope it works.

Does anyone have any experiences with this?

We are at our wits end with him and we love him so much.

I didn't want to put the kitty on meds so I tried some things. Thanks Regi for some of the suggestions, I had to kick up the routine a bit to get any results.

So now I have 4 litter boxes for my two cats. KC is still peeing on the mat on the landing of the stairs but stopped pooping except for once when he went just outside of the box-it was too dirty (my fault)

I've dumped a gallon of the simple solution on the stairs so it gets down to the backing of the rug and the padding and that seems to help the situation. I also spray Feliway type stuff on there to help.

We have two litter boxes in the basement, one in the first level bathroom and one in the second floor laundry room..

Hopefully soon KC will stop peeing on the mat on the landing..there was only a little spot and he did it early this morning.

Going to get loads of litter tonight and another gallon of the simple solution. I have to stop the behavior all together before I can replace the rug (again)
