Any 2006 Brides?

i am so happy to see 2006 brides here!!! i felt like i was the only one!!! july 7th '06

Me too! Me too! July 21, 2006!! Yeah!! I need to get a move on it though, we have not booked the hall yet...doing that in 2 wks.

Just has to drop in.... its a great feeling to have others in yr 'time frame'

I remember when there were only abt 10 2005 brides - we now have well over 100 !!!!

We've finally set a date and booked a hall. June 10th 2006. I love being able to answer the question- 'When's the big day?' How's the planning going for everyone?

Congrats on your date and your hall....isnt it exciting!!!....I jsut want to do everything but people keep telling me you have so much time. Im going to look at video guys next. the only thing i have is the hall and the florist!

Glad to see there are more of us! Congrats on booking the hall...We only have the church & hall booked but we know what we are doing & who we are using for everything except the band or dj....We are going away on Sunday, so when we get back, we will be back in wedding planning mode! It is so exciting, even though I have over 500 days to go!

How exiting- i'm poking my head in too! I was a 2006 bride... then we got antsy and moved it up a year

Hey chillywilly wedding twin! Thats so funny. When did you you book? We just did about 2 weeks ago and can I just say it is THE biggest relief. I mean, I know there's a ton of other stuff to get to still but that seems like such a huge part of it. Question- Are you having the ceremony on site?

We booked about 2 months ago and what a relief to have it out of the way! I am having the ceremony at my church. Are you going to book any of their vendors?

Just checking in. It seems like the 2006 is growing nicely! I also wanted to let you know that I am back to being undecided at the moment about our hall. We backed out of the Inn at East Wind (nothing bad, we've just decided to check out other halls).

We have several appointments this week and next, so hopefully we'll decide on something soon!

GOOD LUCK!!! I am a 2006er too. I, myself, went to 12 halls before picking mine. It's not official yet, but it's going to be Jericho Terrace. Hopefully we'll get in there the week after Labor Day to put deposit!! Have fun!!

Thanks! I need all the luck I can get at this point We made the mistake of booking a place too soon without looking around first, so we are taking it a bit slower.

Jericho Terrace is a great choice! My cousin was a bridesmaid at a wedding there and she couldn't say enough nice things about it.

Don't worry about taking time to book...FH & I got engaged 4/10/04 & started looking the following weekend at halls....We just booked the Floral Terrace on July 24th...We looked at everything, even out of our price range to compare & we know now that we got the best possible deal! Good luck hall shopping!!!

I am a 2006 bride! Either May 28 or June :) If anyone has some price quotes floating around for Nassau County halls, I'd love to hear them! Feel free to FM me. I'm looking at halls now and need good rates for Sunday night.
