LeeMarie...That is exactly what the women said to me on the phone...We can easily make you a lower minimum but we have to charge you for it...She keep asking me on the phone if it was a dead set date...I told FH & he wants to just go look...I see no harm in it...I heard their price is a little high too for what we are looking for...Considering we are still looking, it surely does not hurt to look even if we have no intentions!!

Kissy - I can't believe she was doing it to you too! I absolutely agree with going to look. What have you got to lose? Not only that, but the more halls you see, the more you can compare!

So true! My FSIL told us to go to the most expensive places too & just look...Then you can see how sickening it is for the prices some people pay for basically the same thing!
Do you have any color scheme going yet?? Find any dresses??

hey girls....
Just got home from Russos....
I am going to use Pedastels florist...
THe band was Paris...OMG FREAKIN AWEsome...My cousins and I were waiting to go in...and we seriosuly thought it was Beyonce....I talked to the guy after...and he was like... We start at 7grand...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Riccardo Productions had nice video that were displayed...so we are going to meet with them...I guess I jsut gotta see...
I always wanted a DJ...Until I saw this band....
Oh..and I asked my cousins to be bridesmaids...We went to dinner...and before I picked up my cousins...I went to the resturnant and asked them to put a peice of paper in the menu that I printed saying 'will you be my bridesmaid...they wer eso excited...they all screamed..haha it was so funny.....

I completely agree to see as many as you can. We had appointments to see 11 in one weekend!! We made it to the firt 5 on saturday and nothing else seemed to compare to foxhollow (the first one we saw!). I cancelled the others for sunday and insteadwe went right back to FoxHollow and booked! ...But was glad to see the other 4...it gave me options and allowed me to compare FoxHollow to other places to see that it truly was the place for me! So glad that you had a great time...In Russo's don't you know have the choice of Pedestal's & another place?? I am going to use Pedestal's too though bc my cousin is an account executive there....
A band is always nice as long as you have the $$ in the budget!
I still have to ask my bridesmaids but I am waiting for the hall to be booked! I think I will be asking my MOH this weekend though...

Glad you had a nice time at Russo's! It sounds like you saw a lot of impressive stuff.
Pedestals does some beautiful work. I think we may check them out as well!
As for BMs, I haven't formally asked yet, but they probably all have an idea that they will be asked due to the fact that I was engaged once before to Mr. Wrong and it fell apart. They are all my cousins that I am very close with.

My name is Jennifer and FH is Craig. We both live in FL now but lived in NY till we were 20. We have been in FL about 4 yrs and we couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere but NY!!!

Planning is going good, its crazy since we are planning from FL. FH and I are taking a trip to NY in July so we are seeing 8 photographers and we are going to book the DJ. So hopefully we can make a decision and choose 1 of the 8.
Photography has been the hardest decision so far, have you had these feelings too? There are so many to choose from.

We've got a lot going on, I'm working a lot, and FH is hopefully about to get some job offers, plsu he's moving intoa new apt soon, but I'd like to start looking at CHs.
