Thanks so much. Fox Hollow is actually the first and only one we've checked out so far. They quoted us $80 for a regular Sunday night and $105 (Saturday night rate) for a Sunday night before Monday-holiday. I wasn't happy with that, but we still have a lot of looking to do. We'll definitely check out Riviera and Jericho Terrace.

I am also a 2006 bride. I am booked at east wind. So far just have my dress and the hall. Planning my wedding around school, so don't really have that much time to plan.

WOW! The dress already? congrats. I'm going to wait another year until I get the dress (time to lose weight). We're going to start looking at halls after all of the hubub of moving is settled. It's going to be so nerve wracking. How much of a deposit did you have to leave to book the hall? We just spent SO much $$ on the apartment and it's not over yet! We don't even know what kind of ceremony we're going to have or where. I want to have 2 cermonies (e's jewish, I'm catholic),, because I really want to experience both traditions fully, but he thinks it'll separate our families, etc. Good luck all.

We left a $500 deposit when we booked...I am going to start dress shopping in about a month or so! I am so happy to see so many 2006 brides!!!

I'm on 06 Bride, Sept 3rd to be exact! I've booked a location for my ceremony/reception, Giorgio's at Fox Hill. The place is exactly what I've always pictured. Oh and I booked a piano player for my CH and I'll probably use him for my ceremony. I'm looking at photo & video now. Oh and I think my colors are going to be cranberry, ivory and silver. How's everyone else's progress?

We'll I have my hall booked and my dress, I've been thinking about looking at a champagne like color for my bridesmaids, not sure yet though....Still haven't look into anything else, just gathering ideas at this point..

I'm a 2006 bride - Cinco de Mayo - 5/5/06 - at the Crescent Club in Bayville. I have my church booked - but that's it. I don't want to start until after the holidays because I have too many IL's coming in for Christmas!!!

Hi 06er's!!! Well I am pretty much done with the majority...We have the church & hall booked...Just booked ADA last Wednesday for photo/video...Ordered my gown yesterday & the BM's dresses also in Bill Levkoff's Euro Wine..I know I am using Pedestal's for flowers, just haven't sat down with them....I have my hair appointment & makeup! Really only have limos & DJ left...I hope to have it all done come January

Wow, you've gotten a lot done. Congratulations. I'm going to book my hall on Sunday. Other than that.... I have nothing done. But I'm not stressing... YET!

Yup, Im still at a halt for the planning. I think it will continue after Jan. Its about making sure the funds are there to continue with booking anything else. I also picked up a 2nd seasonal job. Pretty much have no time to do anything other than sleep!

HELLO LADIES! Iam also a 2006 bride...Friday July14, 2006 to be exact. I thought that I was the furtherst away but apparently not.
We looked at the Watermill, Lands End, Giorgios, Lombardis on the Sound, Majestic Gardens, & finally decided upon John Anthony's.
The place holds special meaning, we went on our first date there for his cousin's wedding in 1999 & he proposed to be on his boat on the Great South Bay...which John Anthonys overlooks! Sorry to get cheesy

John Anthony's was bought over & they are putting a lot of $ into the place without changing the decor, staff, or food. It is expected to be done summer of 2005.

So that part is done but I was told to book photographer & music now, as long as you know what you want, b/c then you look in on 2004 prices. ALL HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!
