My close friend lost his mother to cancer last year. She was one of the nicest people I'd ever met. My prayers are with you!!!

I just found out that a person I came to know of passed away today.. he was 28. I never met him, but I've heard of him and seen posters and websites asking people to go for cheek swab to find a match for him..
he's South Asian and there aren't many South Asians registered.. it's a cultural taboo.. and he fought hard to change that made quite a few dents in the community..
Unfortunately he found no match.. but I pray that his legacy lives on.. and for the sake of others, his plight continues..
please say a prayer for him..

My grammy had breast then ovarian then colon cancer..she died 2 years ago in january.. we all still miss her soooo much, my friend is battling lung cancer now ( 7 years in remition!!!) and all my aunts with breast cancer who have won!!

I just got back from running. 3 miles.originally when I started I was at a 16 m/p/h run...now I am at a 14..I hope to be at a 12 minute mile by the race!!!
