I feel silly for even worrying about this but FH and I are the same height. If I wear heels I feel like I will look like a giant. I am already 5'9'. Am I worrying over nothing? Are there any brides who plan to wear flats or who have the same worries.

My cousin is the same height as her husband. She wore ballet slippers to her wedding.

I have heals for the ceremony and ballet slippers to change into if my feet get uncomfortable... but my dress is altered to the heels

I wore 1' heels. My husband is about 1.5' taller than I am and he asked me to please not be taller than he on our wedding day. So I wasn't. I loved my shoes, and they were so comfy I never even thought about changing into the sneakers I brought. Which is a little too bad, I got Chuck Taylors in my wedding color.
I am wearing kitten heels, but I figure betwen the heels, tiara and hair I will still look taller than him! Every so often I gently suggest lifts in his shoes

i'm 6 feet tall and so is he. there is no way i'm looking like a giant towering over him (eventhough when we go out and i wear heel he does ahhaha) i'm wearing flats too---besides---it's more comfortable and NO ONE can see them anyway under my dress!!!! they have fancy shmancy ones at aldo and online at zappos.com. do what makes you the most comfortable

im wearing low shoes. fh is only about an inch taller than me, and i dont want to be taller than him especially at the alter..lol

I am like an inch or so taller than DH and I wore ballets slippers on my wedding day and it was the best decision. I was comfortable all night.

I'm wearing flats; I had foot surgery a few years back and haven't been comfortable in heels since.

I have the same situation as you...FH and I are both 5'9' tall I wear heels all the time when we go out but I am wearing slippers for the wedding. They are cozy and we will be the same height in pictures.

im right there with you!!! im 5'9' and FH is 5'10'. im wearing ballerina flats. theres no way in hell i'm going to be taller than him. and i'm making sure he gets a shoe with a slight heel.

FH and I are about the same height, but I do wear heels when we go out. I have heels for the wedding, but am seriously leaning towards weraring my gold ballet flats. They are so comfortable and would look great with my dress.

I am also wearing sneakers! I'm going to get a pair of all white Nike Shox & 'bedazzle' them myself! I WILL be comfy during my reception! Hehehe!
