I'm sitting in class at the moment thinking 'damn I'm really cutting it close when I graduate and when I get married' I'm finally graduating after 4.5 yrs in Dec 05 and getting married Sept 06. School, work, and making wedding plans is starting to become a little overwhelming. Hopefully when I graduate I'll be able to get my dream job ASAP so that I'm pretty much set before I get married. Anyone else out there in my situation??

i am a law student - grauduate in May 05, Bar exam end of july - wedding augus 13th 05
it is really all jumpled together

I graduated from my Master's program in June (so all the wedding planning was done while working full time/Master's program part time), wedding was in early November, starting doctoral program next fall (a year off to enjoy married life...).

IF I finish my dissertation on time, I'll be getting my doctorate May 2006 and getting married--guess when--May 2006! It's really frustrating when people try to tell me 'the right time' to do wedding-related things. No one understands that the right time is when I have less school-related stuff. Oh yeah, and I have an externship 3days/week this year and 5 days/week next year...AND FH is in law school--Bar Exam 7/2005. The interesting thing is that everyone understands when he has too much work to do, but I'm expected to be much better at multi-tasking. Is it really the men who can't multi-task? Or is it society's expectation that they can't that makes it a self-fulfilling prophesy?

I am currently in grad school. My fi and I graduated in 2002 and got engaged in 2003. He and I knew I would be going back to grad school. I just started in the Fal and will be in school until June 2006 (I hope ) We are getting married in 2.5 months and it all seems like alot to handle (espically as it gets much closer)

Buying a house hopefully somewhere in between LOL
I am overwhelmed this month. Its too much working full time, going to classes at night, working on my thesis, and holiday shopping and all that. I feel stressed this month.

I got engaged my first year of grad school and got married the summer after my third year. Juggling everything is hard, but it's doable. I give everyone doing this a whole lot of credit..I know what a struggle it can be!

Graduating in two weeks with Masters Degree and will go from being full-time student to UNEMPLOYED.
Finding a job, figuring out how we will make ends meet and save for a wedding should be an interesting adventure in the few months before we get married...
No doubt it will all work out. :)

YES!!! Going through the same stressful situation. We got engaged in june, I started my masters in nursing this Sept and will not finish until May '07, we are getting married in July '06 (that's why we are waiting so long). Between working full time, planning an engagement party (which we had 10/31) planning a wedding, going to school and buying a house i am going CRAZY!!!!! You are not alone!

I will graduate w/ a masters in August, and get married in Dec. Wedding planning only happens on semester breaks...luckily I work at the university where I am taking classes, so everything quiets down during breaks :)

if it makes you feel any better.. i'm still working on my BA. i took a year off becuase i didn't like the school i had originally gone to so i'm a year behind, plus classes i need for my major are never available so that put me even further behind. i'm getting married in may and i'll be going into my 2nd semester sr year in august.

i'm going for a career change and I JUST STARTED!! i have my BA in psych from 1997 and I started the nursing program in September..i won't graduate until 2006 so i'll be married by then..i wish i could quit my job and just go full time so i can not be so stressed but we'll all handle it i'm sure!! we're women how could we not!!

i got married in april and finished my MBA in august. it felt like a lot, especially while working full time, but i got it all done.
very relieved to be done with the planning and school though. now i'll be juggling motherhood as of february :)
