Any brides out there still in school?

I'm sitting in class at the moment thinking 'damn I'm really cutting it close when I graduate and when I get married' I'm finally graduating after 4.5 yrs in Dec 05 and getting married Sept 06. School, work, and making wedding plans is starting to become a little overwhelming. Hopefully when I graduate I'll be able to get my dream job ASAP so that I'm pretty much set before I get married. Anyone else out there in my situation??

Sorry just bored in class and trying to kill time LoL

Wow, I feel much better reading all the responses. I am currently teaching and working towards my masters, and it is kicking my a$$ so much so that I'm taking this spring off just to get a breather. I'll be done in Fall of 2006!

Ladies it can all be done. There were some days that I thought my head would explode. I graduated with my MBA in June and got married in July. It's tough working fulltime, going to school and planning a wedding (I was an OOT bride). DH was in law school at the same time and won't finish until May 06. Going to school and planning a wedding puts some stresses in your life and relationship, but it will all be worth it in the end.

Got engaged my senior of college, married 2 years later in my 2nd year of grad school- I'm graduating this May, and I worked (and am still working) full time. It's stressful but doable- it's just a matter of planning ahead to anticipate when you are going to have a lot of schoolwork, etc. Good luck!

i am a law student - grauduate in May 05, Bar exam end of july - wedding augus 13th 05

it is really all jumpled together

same here. I got engaged in the middle of my 2nd year of law school. I'm getting married Sept. 4, 2005- 6 weeks after the bar exam. I got most of my planning done last summer...when I knew I had the time.

i am graduating law school in may 2005, then taking the bar at the end of july, getting married one week later in hawaii, then having the reception a few weeks later on long island. its going to be hectic!!! but worth it! =)

i'm going for a career change and I JUST STARTED!! i have my BA in psych from 1997 and I started the nursing program in September..i won't graduate until 2006 so i'll be married by then..i wish i could quit my job and just go full time so i can not be so stressed but we'll all handle it i'm sure!! we're women how could we not!!

i can relate!! i will be graduating from my nursing program in june, thank god!! it is so stressful. i put off wedding planning until i got closer to graduation. now that it is within my reach i have begun planning again and we set our new date. if you can quit do it. that way you can dedicate more time to your studies. nursing school is no joke!

I actually went back to school in August for a second Bachelors. Between that, a full time job and planning this wedding, sometimes I think I should just give one of them up. So far, I haven't. I guess that's a good sign. Going to school will get you a better job and more money so that you can have the life you want. Know that you're not alone and stick with it.

I'm in Grad School now...working on my dissertation and doing my 5 day/week internship while planning my July '05 wedding. I'm finding a way to make it all work the best I can but the most depressing part is that everyone around me has been working for so long and saving money that they are buying houses/condos! I feel like I will never be done and never have any money to start my family!

Im sitting wait for my class to begin reading this lol. Im going for my master's in education 2 nigths a week while working full time, teaching on saturaday's, and planning a wedding and looking for a place to live. I dont know if i can take all of this anymore!!

For all of you Nursing Students out there....it's tough, but totally worth it! I have my BS in Nursing and i am in the process of getting my masters!!! Hard work, but it will pay off in the end!

I'm glad I'm not the only one ready to commit herself. I'm currently getting my BA (graduate in May), then my clinical internship over the summer, THEN (by the grace of GOD) I'll start grad school in fall'05. Oh yeah, wedding is Oct. '05. AND we JUST bought a house....

Hmmm..... maybe I'll work on the cure for cancer AND acheiving world peace while I'm at it....

I too am in my third year of law school. I graduate in May '05, take the bar exam in July '05, and get married in August '05. Oh, lest we forget that my fiancee's and my birthday are also in July and August. Wow, we have a lot going on.

I'm a grad student... I'm getting married in September, so my wedding will be right in the heart of my 3rd semester. A little stressful, but oh well, what can you do? Even I, have to have a life.

I'm in grad school until May.

FH is also in grad school, he has classes till '06 and then an internship till '07. He actually as summer classes all summer and won't finish until about a week before the wedding
