I think, I have just made the biggest mistake to register for a class in school. I can not withdraw because I will loose $200.00.
With my wedding coming up in 6 months. I can not concentrate on school work. All I want to look at is bridal books. But, now I have to look at both school work & bridal books.
Are they any techniques to swing this without failing this class. ? I am also working a 9 to 5 -- Monday thru Friday.
Thanks a million!!!!!
Thanks!!!!!!!!

Re: any Brides to be in College?
I'm taking 2 classes at night and I work full time - and my wedding is only 3 weeks after the end of the semester so I think I'll be totally freaking out by finals week but I can't take any more time off from school so I have to do it. It will all work out - it always does!

Re: any Brides to be in College?
Thanks,
I could barely sleep all night, just thinking of this................
But, it is good to know there are others out there who are also in school, or have been in school while planning.
I do feel that when this class is done, the wedding will be right around the corner, coming up. I will try to stay focused.

Re: any Brides to be in College?
I too work full time and go to school part time. I just started this semester and I already feel tired of school. I only have one more class after this one and I'm done, so I can't take this semester off. I just keep telling myself it'll all be worth it in the end. I'm starting to feel overwhelmed with the planning and I think I need to make a schedule for myself too so that I dedicate enough time to school. Good luck to all of you ladies working, studying and planning one of the most important days of your lives!

I am a full time doctoral student, and although it has been difficult, I have managed to work wedding planning in there. You just have manage your time really well, and maybe not spend so much time looking at a billion vendor possibilites.

Re: any Brides to be in College?
I know how it is. I am in grad school at SUNY Stony Brook for Library Science and I am taking two classes. I am actually going to take off in the Fall because of the wedding and all. You will be done 2 months before your wedding. It's tough and I know exactly how it is. I would much rather be on here or looking at wedding sites and books too. I just tell myself its going to be tough but it will be worth it to help me get a librarian job.

That's cool! You can leave work early if you come in early? That would help!

Re: any Brides to be in College?
i just finished! we got engaged in june and the wedding plans were totally put on hold while i was in school. i was going to class and working at night and student teaching during the day, so i didn't have time to really put effort in. if i didn't have class at night, it would have been a different story. i give mad props to you ladies who are doing it b/c it is HARD!!!
