Any Christian Brides???

I am curious if I am the only one who is doing premarital classes once a week for like 8 weeks...

also meeting twice after the wedding????

lol no we just have to read our assigned scriptures that she emails us and report back. my aunt is my officiant. she splits the time in three..she counsels fh by himself then me by myself and then us together.

yes she does...when we came together at the end we spoke of those things and what marriage is.

we are getting married by our pastor and we have pre marriage sessions ... so far we have had three and we are supposed to have two more. i really like them ... this pastor happened to be my youth pastor growing up so we know eachother very well. the last time we met we actually went out to eat and it was really nice.

it is a lot of different things...

there are chapters that have to do with different subjects..

really knowing each other
budgets
communication
spiritual compatibility
personal history .....etc

at the end of each there is project you have to do and although it's time consuming and not super convinient we have been really learning a lot!!!! and the projects make you have all different kinds of convos...and it was awesome to make like a married life budget and target goals etc...

last night after we were doing communication lol for and hour and 40 minutes i wondered if anyone else was doing a course like this...

yeah my pastor has known FH and since we met and he has seen us basically grow as corny as that is...it's awesome that we have a relationship with him and the classes are really eye opening and kind of fun...

just stink that sometimes we are not done until 9pm...

i honestly think it is the best thing going....even after one session...we had a topic that we never was able to really talk about openly and we did there and now we have no problems talking about it....FH loves it because he bottles up a lot of stuff.
