I hate my computer... I need to download a font...script... nothing out of the ordinary and can't do it HHHHHHEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPP!

I am not sure!!!
DH is out of town and I need to download any type of script.. I had found a site, but when I try to open in windows and then I get a $h!tload of Jibberish!!!!!
I think it may be opening in the wrong application, but I havent the slightest Idea on how to fix it!! Or to download it the right way!!

I found one site called 1001freefonts.com
My cousin dana said to try that.. she uses it for her classes...
I really dont know of any other sites.. I tried looking up any site... If you have a suggestion I will take that too...

Have you tried clicking it with the right mouse button and 'Save As'

I dont really know what that means...
I kow how to right click... but .. ok... On the site I found the font, then it has a button for mac or win. I click win.....
It loads onto my comp. and then disappears.. I think I found it ( did a search for files or folders...) then I click on it and its jibberish... numbers and squares and backwards letters...
I feel so dumb-- And I REALLY need it..
The worst part is ITS SCRIPT that I need... just basic SCRIPT!!

You know how the computer brings up the box and it says open this file using ____ and then has the list of appliccations.. well.. yesterday i just hit enter, instead of actually reading it.. and I think its trying to open itself up using the wrong application...
Does that make sense?

Can you be more detailed on what you need exactly? A 'script' is a very vague term.
Also be careful about those free sites. A lot of those free sites will place a ton of spyware on your computer after you get your free font.

Did you actually install the font in the fonts folder in the control panel? You have to do that before it will work. It will not work, and it will look like gibberish if you don't move it o the font folder first.
