Any Demetrios brides out there?!?!

shameless bump fpr the afternoon crew...

wanting to know if anyone actually DID change a top and bottom...

But also wanted to say... i asked netbride for a quote on that gown and they responded back... 630!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am floored... why so cheap?

I am a Demetrios bride but I am not changing tops and bottoms. I know that the price for changing the neckline is $250. I'm sure if you call one of the macy's salon's with the dress #'s and changes they will be able to get a quote for you.

As for the Netbride prices...sometimes the beading is different. For example...if the original dress has swarovski crystals maybe the one on netbride has glass beading. Just be careful with those sites.

ETA: Did you tell me that you live in the bronx? Just so you know Amelia's in Fleetwood can get any dress for you. So if you see a dress somewhere else they can order it for you. Just so you don't have to go far for fittings. HTH!

Amelia's was actually cheaper than Macy's. Even with Macy's extra discounts. They are sooo nice at Amelia's. So shop around make sure you write down style numbers and give them a call once you get prices. I believe alterations are included in the price. Same thing for BM dreses. Alterations are included. Their (my bms)dresses are 220.

Also...alot of the Demetrios dresses have detail on the bottom of the gown so they will most likely do hth measurement so 1 less thing to alter.

Yes, I think I have heard this. I had only minor changes to my dress...neckline, extra length and then extra beading at the bottom. Each modification was about $200. HTH Good Luck
