Any Destination Brides?

If so please help...I don't even know where to start ...should i send out my STD's now or wait awhile ...what information about the hotel ...should i include that in the STD or wait for the invites

Also where are you getting married?

I'm just curious as to where to start and what I should be doing right now ...very nerve racking !

I'm a destination bride...Getting married in the Bahamas in May. When are you getting married? I think for a destination wedding, the sooner the better for the STDs. This way so people have plenty of notice. Below are our STDs that I did. Our invites will be goingout around Thanksgiving to give people all the information 6 months before, then the RSVP is earlier than normal because we have to make sure enough rooms are there and such.

i was a destination bride until we change our plans. we did STD/website travel information. You have plenty of time. You can send out infor 10-6 months before, but it depends on who you are inviting, obviously close people would know when it is and would be saving the date. (we were only inviting our closest friend and family, so they all knew well before the info was given to them)
