Any experience with Sparklers?

We're not allowed to throw anything at our church, so we were going to use sparklers. But, it won't be dark out after our ceremony. both moms think it's a stupid idea, but I thought it would be fun. Who doesn't love sparklers? (besides our moms of course!) We didn't want to use bubbles because they're so drippy and it's going to be so cold out.

what do you guys think?

it looks cute but I would never want to take the risk of burning my gown or any of my girls gowns..

Re: Any experience with Sparklers?

Totally agree with MarcellaBella. You wouldn't want to risk any embers falling on your dress and making tiny burn holes. Be careful!

Re: Any experience with Sparklers?

Im doing the sparklers as we are leaving the church. I've seen pics of people using them during the day, and the pictures are beautiful. I thought you'd might want to read this, I copied it off a seller : Easy Lite gold sparklers are the best sparkler to use in weddings. They last for about 2 minutes, long enough for everyone to light up at the same time. Just hold them at least a foot away from anything and the sparks will be safe. 14 inches long on a sturdy steel wire. Their beautiful branching iron sparks burn for 1-3/4 to 2 minutes each and have a special primer on the tip to make them easy to light. Be sure you order enough to test-light them at the rehearsal. 6 packs of 6 sparklers.
