IMO, they are evil horrible shoes!!! My friends and I all got them for a wedding we were in because they were so cute... uh, yeah... barely made it down the aisle (it was also summer, 1500 degrees and an outdoor ceremony so our feet were swelling)
After we were introduced into the reception we all took them off - I wore the same clunky brown sandals I had worn to the brides house that morning w/ my gown because I couldn't stand the pain! But one of the other girls still wears hers on occasion, so thats just me!

Tried a pair on in the bridal salon, my feet broke out in a sweat..they are all plastic..not very comfortable for me.

I've never used them but I've heard that they are very uncomfortable, and they make your feet very hot and sweaty and then your feet swell until you're even more uncomfortable. I definitely will not be wearing them, especially in July!

Did I forget to mention that this wedding was in July?
The guy in the shoe store recommended putting them on your foot with a sock (HA!) and then taking a HAIR DRYER and blowing the plastic so that it would s t r e t c h to match your foot....

Sounds like too much work to me! I could just picture myself in my wedding gown, veil and all, bending over to blow dry my feet!

LOL! Helene, you should have seen us... using the hair dryer to get the wrinkles out of our BM gowns because the limo had no AC and then trying to stretch the d@mn shoes because they were just torturing our feet and it was so hot that day... I barely remember anything else about this wedding, its so sad!

Skip those shoes. Hot, sweaty feet fogging up your shoes is not ideal on your wedding day. Gross. Go for a strappy sandal instead!
